• Polish frequently with a soft polishing cloth to maintain the shine. A polishing cloth won’t remove scratches, so it’s important that you protect your jewellery. You can buy polishing cloths and care kits here.

 

• Remember to store jewellery separately in a tarnish-resistant jewellery box or jewellery pouch and keep it away from abrasive surfaces.

 

• Please handle jewellery with love and care. Be extra careful not to drop on the floor or knock against hard surfaces as this will cause damage.

 

• Remember to remove jewellery prior to swimming, bathing and doing sports or other physical activity.

 

• Please limit any contact with make-up, creams, perfume and lotions.

Oxidation on metal does naturally fade over time, this is normal wear and tear, not a defect. But how quickly this happens is down to how you look after your jewellery.

Did you know that sweat, chlorine, perfumes, and cleaning agents like liquid polish or dip’s can all cause oxidation to fade faster.

If your bracelet gets a bit dirty, don’t put it in water as this may damage or discolour the fibres. Instead, run a slightly dampened white cotton cloth over it, taking care not to rub the fibres too vigorously. For stains, act fast. Run, not rub, the dampened cloth in a circular motion, starting from the outside edge of the stain and moving into the centre of it.
